About Christian Story

History and theology, brought to life.

What is ChristianStory?

Christian history is full of weird and wonderful stories, but it also has its fair share of division, violence, and controversy. How do we make sense of it all? Then there's theology—the big questions of faith that can feel overwhelming.

At ChristianStory, we believe history and theology don't have to be barriers to faith—they can deepen it. Christianity is a centuries-long story of people wrestling with what it means to be part of it. We want to bring that story to life.

Who are we?

We're a team of theologians, historians, and animators based in Biel/Bienne, Bern, Switzerland and Oxford, UK. Our research is rooted in an international team of researchers from universities in Switzerland, the UK and beyond. Our creative team brings it all to life from the Alps. We deliberately work with advisors from across Christian traditions — Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant — to ensure depth and accuracy.

Our Team

We work with a distinguished team of advisors from across Christian traditions — to ensure depth and accuracy in our content.
